Top Ten Countdown to 2011

I decided I wanted to a top ten countdown of some of my favorite shots over the past year....although I have to be honest I have soooo many that I really couldn't decide. So in no particular order (I am a bit partial to the first one though) Here are a just a VERY very VERY small sample of some of my Faves!

Thanks to Everyone who has Supported Amada Photography and Me...over the past couple of years. In particular this year. I have an AMAZING Family, WONDERFUL friends and AWESOME Clients!

I was yet again honored to be invited to capture images of a training fire
in Oakboro, NC (photos to follow on a later date)
However I managed to capture a few images that I had to turn into an Artistic pieces.

I came Up with this image and then decided to add "The Fireman's Prayer"

Feature Friday

This photo was taken on Thanksgiving day when I was suppose to be taking pictures of the Parade. This Majestic Church caught my eye. I instantly started snapping off shots. This was the result. I decided to feature this one as a collage.

Feature Friday

Ok so I might be putting my head on the chopping block by making this my Feature Friday Photo....but I am a risk taker :)
Yes, I know our beloved Carolina Panthers kinda stink...but it doesn't negate the fact that Charlotte NC has a beautiful skyline. Included in that (at least for me) is the Bank of America Stadium...where our precious Panthers play...aha

I took this Picture on my Birthday this year and really wanted to turn it into a piece of art as opposed to just a picture. I love the way it turned out and I am even going to Showcase it in my own home...I'm not scared :)

Just in time.....

So the Christmas Season is officially here!
I have been working really hard and have been extremely busy,
with shoots and keeping up with gift orders.
I recently created this Calendar for 2011 because
lately it seems I have doing a lot of shoots with the fire dept.
I must say I am very honored to have been asked to capture some
of the images that you will see in this Calendar. I wanted to
honor and pay respect to these men and women who put their lives on the
line everyday...
not just for us but for each other!
I have never seen a Band of Brotherhood quite like this.
If you know a fireman/woman and you want to honor them as well

So I have become that Mom :)

So for some reason I have gotten alot of attention with this photo of my 3 yr old.
I have been told to enter her in pageants...but honestly I think she would be too wild for that :)
I decided to just enter her in some kids photo contest. So if you would please show your support (if you think she's a cutie.... :)
then vote. I promise I won't become a stage mom....but I can't promise you won't get tired of looking at her

Boudoir Photography is a great way to celebrate yourself and makes a great gift for your special someone! Your session can be "Fun & Flirty", "Intimate & Sultry", or "Pin Up" style - but always tasteful and classy.

All individual sessions are shot privately so that each Party Client feels comfortable and can express themselves freely.

My goal is to make you feel beautiful & glamorous. Because of the private nature of these images, your images will not be posted unless I have permission for that particular photo and even then it would be "teaser" photo that does not reveal anything that is for his eyes only.

Turning 40 tires you out!

So I officially have crossed over to the "other" side. I turned 40 last week. So I decided to give you a little glimpse into my birthday week. I was tuckered out by the time the week ended.

Yes, there were alot of candles on the cake...oh and JOKES yep heard them all that night!

Spent the entire day of my Birthday taking picture of Beautiful Charlotte, NC
and yes...that is my family being silly!

This day was spent at the Lazy 5 Ranch...it is a drive thru Petting Zoo of sorts.

This day was alot of fun and very much an honor for me. I was asked to photograph the Antique Fire Trucks for CFD

I spent the rest of my week editing photos and I am still not done.
This is just a glimpse of some of the shots I was able to get on my Week long Birthday!
